CFS is not a guide service – All trips organized through cfsRiverTrips must be strictly shared cost, cooperative recreational activities.

CFS is for expediting and organizing river trips, trading and selling personnel river gear, telling tall river tales, reporting river news, events, and river hazards.

CFS is all about promoting river safety and sharing one’s hard earned knowledge on all things river-related in a nurturing and community-minded manner. Thus leading to more enjoyable and safe whitewater boating experience for all. FLAMING will not be be tolerated!

CFS is not the place for commercial advertising.

By filling out and submitting this form you are stating you agree with and will abide by these guidelines and the CFS Philosophy, that you recognize that whitewater boating is inherently dangerous to life and limb, that you are responsible for recognizing your own limits and deciding when, where and with whom to boat.

Gear Owned
River run tubes, float tubes, inner tubes, inflatable orcas, inflatable mattresses, K-mart & Big Five duckies and the like, are NOT considered appropriate whitewater craft.

No membership will be considered without ALL the above information, including gear owned.

Your request will be processed by an actual human being, so it could take a few hours to a few days to process as that human may be on the river, in the mountains or someplace in between where there is no internet connection...

Once processed by said human you will receive an email asking you to confirm your membership request by replying with a "YES". The reply email subject will be: CFS Membership Request. It will come from: carl[at]cfsonline[dot]org

NOTE 1: Your reply must contain the entire message, including you confirmation.

NOTE 2: Be sure to check your spam folder, just in case...

When your confirmation is received you will be subscribed to cfsRiverTrips [at] googlegroups [dot] com. You will then receive two emails, one with instructions on how to complete your CFS membership on Google Groups (follow these instructions carefully), and one welcoming you to CFS.

NOTE 3: You must create a Google Groups account to manage your subscription. This MUST be done using the email address you subscribe with. Don't ask me to change your email address, as you can do this yourself in Google Groups.
